Church Costs:
Initial Consultation
There are no financial fees or costs associated with the initial consultation by a representative of Segue Ministries. It is customary for the church to provide reimbursement for travel, lodging (if needed), and meals.
Level I. (TIP) Costs:
The services of a Traditional Interim Pastor (TIP) are determined by the amount and extent rendered. A Ministry Covenant that is mutually agreeable and signed by both parties completely defines all of the expectations and remuneration for services. This covenant will be completely discussed and be in the hands of the church leadership following an initial consultation.
Level II (iTIP) Costs:
The service by an Intentional Transitional Pastor is far greater than the interim services of Level I. The iTIP is willing to relocate to the community and fully pastor the congregation while leading them through a full and complete interim process. This level of work normally commands a financial scale of a full-time pastor. Once again, this level is fully disclosed at the initial consultation and requires an agreeable Ministry Covenant as well.
On-site 1-day Transition Workshop Costs: $350.00 + expenses
Seven full hours of information, formation and revelation to help you develop your churches’ transition plan. A highly skilled Segue Team Member will join you at your campus for assisting you in development of your custom tailored plan. You will receive workbooks and materials that help educate leaders and formulate a custom Transition Plan that you will design for your church. This is a great investment for the smaller congregation.
Church Leadership 2-day Retreat Costs: $500.00 + expenses
A two day retreat for church leadership and transition teams includes all the information about the Segue Ministries process. By scheduling this time for those highly involved, you will begin to discover who you really are as a church, Finding a fresh direction for the future, proper assignment of leadership, selection process development, and launching into the future are only a few of the topics studied. Segue Ministries goal is to equip and inspire your leaders rather than issue a prescription. THIS IS AN EXCELLENT WAY TO BEGIN YOUR PROCESS!
Minister Training Costs:
Level I: Traditional Interim Pastor Training $250.00
This level of training requires 16 classroom hours over a day and a half. The subject matter includes an overview of the “Segue Way”, a study of church systems and cultures, understanding why the pulpit is empty, assessments, leadership shifts, processes and tasks, steps to strengthen denominational linkages, the search and selection process, and building a plan for transition.
In addition to classroom study, reading assignments and practical field training are required when available. Mentoring and coaching round out the TIP candidate and ready them for assignment.
